An Introduction to Tuning In

Some of you might already know about tuning in, and probably a lot of you don't. Because tuning in is an integral part of every meditation that we do in this inner circle, we have a video for you to help you understand the meaning behind this simple practice.

When we tune in with the mantra ong namo guru dev namo it essentially means
"I connect to the divine wisdom inside of me and I connect to the golden chain of teachers that have come before me".
We also often do an "extended" tuning in in the Inner Circle meditations, which includes another mantra.

to tune in :::

ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO x 3

When we chant this we are connecting to the divine wisdom within us
and to the all the divine teachers that have come before us.

then

Aad Guray Nameh
Jugaad Guray Nameh
Sat Guray Nameh
Siri Guru Dayvay Nameh (3x)

This second chant is sort of an "extended tuning in."
This mantra surrounds us in a white light of protection and it translates to this:

I bow to the Primal Wisdom.
I bow to the Wisdom through the Ages.
I bow to the True Wisdom.
I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom.

then Sat Nam

We close our practice with this blessing :::

May the long time sun shine upon you
All love surround you
And the pure light within you
Guide your way on

SAT NAM
